SEE-ERA.net Conference in Belgrade Print E-mail

Regional SEE-ERA. Net Conference Information and Communication Technologies: Application Research was held in Belgrade, 12-14 February, 2007.

CEON/CEES was represented at the Conference with one invited plenary lecture.

The purpose of Conference was to establish partnership between institutions of attending countries, support knowledge exchange between researchers, reduce duplication of research activities and enable their gathering based on research interests.

The Conference was attended by around 120 researchers from the region who deal with applied ICT research. As a result of this event a number of teams from regional countries was formed to prepare applications for the upcoming SEE-ERA-NET call.

We think that close attention should be paid to SEE-ERA-NET activities. CEON will try to track the outputs and impact of SEE-ERA-NET projects, including those in which Serbian institutions are not directly involved. We will also try to monitor evaluation procedures employed in SEE-ERA-NET calls.
