CEON/CEES is a virtual R&D institute, acting as a S&T observatory.

Pulls together experts from various Serbian institutions in a non-for-profit organization to develop informetric methods and databases intended for the evaluation, as well as for promotion of research results produced in Serbia. Works on integration of the national system of S&T information and its harmonization with EU standards. Is pleading for public, data-based, and non-arbitrary evaluation. Supports, promotes, and is practicing Open Access to S&T information.

CEON/CEES’ Journal Bibliometric Report for 2010 published

The Report is available to all users of the Serbian Academic Network at http://scindeks-bic.nb.rs/. International users might be given access on special request.

BIC-2010 is of cumulative character, comprising data for the whole period from 2002 on. It was prepared according to the same methodology which was used in the preparation of the previous report. The report includes 376 journals, 12 of which were evaluated for the first time. Excluded were 17 journals, due to the lost of continuity in publication. Journals violating publishing and/or ethical standards, as defined by the Act on Journal Editing of MSTD, are warned about possible deselection.
