The conference entitled «System of Scientific, Technological and Business Information», was held in Belgrade. The most frequently addressed subject at the conference was the evaluation of research results.

CEON/CEES was represented with one invited and four conference papers:

1. Šipka Pero: Integrating information resources intended for evaluation of research performance (invited plenary report);
2. Kosanović Biljana, Šipka Pero: How to support informationally decision-making on journal collections subscription: From impact factor, through usage factor to the benefit factor;
3. Pajić Dejan: Is there an alternative to the impact factor?;
4. Jevremov Tanja: Information value of authors' keywords assigned to articles available through Serbian Citation Index;
5. Stanić Nikola, Sotirović Miša: System for electronic editing of domestic journals indexed by Serbian Citation Index.

On the second day of the event a round table on the evaluation of R&D work was held. As the moderator, the Minister of Science and Technological Development Mr Božidar Đelić, stated that evaluation of R&D products is an important subject in preparing the new forthcoming National Strategy for Science and Technological Development. He also stated that the suggestions from the round table will be built into the strategy.
